M8 TV Complete Wall Mount Installation Fastener Kit
Bracket to TV + Bracket to Wall
For: VESA 400x400 TVs & Monitors
Grade 18-8 Stainless Steel

This kit includes all parts included in our TV wall mount kit plus the Lag Screws to attach the bracket to your wall.

Most TV manufacturers comply with the VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) standards. If you look at the back of your TV you will notice that the screws holes are in a perfect square pattern. When you measure the distance between holes they should be as follows:

    VESA 75 measures 75 mm x 75 mm (approx. 3” x 3”)
          Uses M4 (Small) screws
    VESA 100 measures 100 mm x 100 mm (approx. 4” x 4”)
         Uses M4 (Small) screws
    VESA 100/200 measures 100 mm x 200 mm (approx. 4” x 8”)
         Uses M4 (Small) screws
    VESA 200 measures 200 mm x 200 mm (approx. 8” x 8”)
         Uses M6 (Medium) screws
    VESA 400 measures 400 mm x 400 mm (approx. 16” x 16”)
        Uses M8 (Large) screws

There are no established standards for bracket to wall fasteners. However, our research has found that TVs 41” and larger can be firmly held in place by 5/16” x 3 ½” long lag screws. Note: drill a 3/16” or 7/32” pilot hole in the middle of the studs before installing the lag screws.

Our fasteners are made of grade 18-8 (18% Chromium and 8% nickel) solid stainless steel which will prevent rust.

Do not over tighten TV mounting fasteners. Snug is good but too tight will strip out internal TV threads and wooden studs.

You may be able to locate plated steel or painted steel bolts and screws at a lower price, but why would you want to mount your expensive TV with the cheapest possible fasteners? Treat yourself and your TV to the best, use stainless steel and forget about rust.
