The same cannot be said of most corner protector screws. The original screws on your device may have been made of chrome plated, black oxide, nickel plate or gold toned steel. What Kind Do You Need? Basically there are two types of Amp & Speaker Cabinet Corner Screws. You can easily determine this by removing one from your device. If the fastener comes out of an angled hole and the underside of the screw is shaped like a cone, then it is an Oval Head screw. If the fastener comes out of a flat hole and the underside of the screw head is also flat then it is a Truss Head screw.
How Many Do You Need? Most devices have 8 corner protectors. Each corner uses 2, 3 or 4 screws each. Simple multiplication tells us that the highest quantity needed would be 32 screws. If your corner protectors have only 2 or 3 holes, you will have extra screws.
