Bicycle Beautification Kit for Braze On and Tapped Holes

Empty holes on bike frames attract moisture and promote corrosion.
Also, they look incomplete and seem like something is missing.

An easy quick fix is to purchase one of our stainless steel beautification kits.

Since different makes and models of bicycle frames contain varying numbers of mounting holes we have attempted to include enough fasteners to fill all of the holes in frames no matter which style you own. Our kits include 4 short (8mm), 4 medium length (12mm) and 4 long (16mm) stainless steel bolts, or machine screws. These fasteners are the socket button head type. They have the proper thread diameter and pitch to fit 99% of all bicycles. There are also 12 stainless steel washers with a diameter that is the same as that of the bolt head making the washers almost invisible.

Note: Occasionally even the two short length bolts are too long to clear the chain on the sprocket side of the wheel. If this occurs you will have to remove the rear wheel, install the bolts from the inside and place the nuts on the outside.

It is not the purpose of this kit to assist in mounting a luggage rack. If you buy a new carrier,
you will most likely receive the proper fasteners with that purchase.
