However, screws with Phillips head or Slot heads are way too common. Those types of heads are like an unlocked door. Any thief would own that type of screwdriver. If a thief sees that your tags are held on with screws that he has no tool to unscrew, he will probably move on to an easier target.

What will these screws fit? Mostly domestic (American) vehicles such as cars and trucks made by Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Ford, Lincoln, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram.
If your license plate screws thread into anything plastic or plastic inserts then these screws are probably what you need. If they thread into metal, then these screws probably WILL NOT WORK right for you.
