These are very useful bolts that can be used during the restoration of a 1960s or early 1970s Ford Motor Company product.

Each piece of our under hood bolt set is made of grade 18-8 stainless steel (18% chromium & 8% nickel) to prevent rust forever.

Washers that are included in this set are very heavy duty, 1/8” (.125 inch) thick x ¾” diameter. They are almost as thick as three normal thickness washers which measure .141 in a stack of three. These washers are NOT attached to the bolts.

You can buy zinc plated bolts for less, but it is only a matter of time until rust will appear.

You may think that you could locate similar bolts locally and that may be true. However, most local hardware stores charge more than we are asking and probably will not have the extra thick washers. If you end up driving around burning up expensive gasoline and wasting your day, you would probably be better off just ordering one of our packages and having it delivered to your door?

All pieces of our under hood bolt sets are made of grade 18-8 stainless steel which will never rust.
